New Painting
A recent new painting in a series based around traditional stories in contemporary settings. I wanted to see how few symbols the viewer needed to read the image and relate to stories that are part of the Western culture. New Commission – Auto Body
This is a commission for the US band Auto Body. I work in acrylic on card which allows me to contrast flat colours (looking contemporary – eg; screen print revival and digital illustration) with more painterly marks (more traditional watercolour technique.) 30-Brighton HOUSE open
I’m exhibiting at the Regency Townhouse, Brunswick Square, Brighton in the open submission exhibition HOUSE open, showcasing the best of artist open house artists. Life drawing was so crowded I couldn’t see the model so had a few hours to draw the back of Lucy’s head….

White Night 2010
This is the actual cart with Emma the model inside. The carts were lit by torches, street light and candlelight and were dragged around the city by teams of volunteers. Emma is one of the founders of lingerie designers Ophelia Fancy and designed the costumes for all the carts.
